The Ghanaian Curriculum

The Ghanaian Curriculum

Ghana's national curriculum is the backbone of everything we teach. Our learners build the same knowledge and skills as their peers across the country, in the same sequence, and the difference is in how richly we bring it to life.

Kindergarten to Grade 6

We deliver the Standards-Based Curriculum of the Ghana Education Service from kindergarten through Grade 6. Each subject is planned against the national learning indicators and expected standards.

Assessment that helps

Class tests, continuous assessment and end-of-term examinations are used to guide teaching and catch gaps early. Results, homework and notices reach parents through the Educare mobile app, and the exam timetable is published on this website.

Junior High School, coming soon

Our four-storey Junior High School building is almost complete. When it opens, our learners will continue into the Common Core Programme here at Dominion, with the same values and the same care.

Independence Day in heritage dress, cultural days with drums and traditional dishes, and respect for our community's rules are all part of raising Royals who are rooted in Ghana and ready for the world.
